Questions are
a good place to start.
A few things to know as you consider care.
What happens at a first appointment?
An initial psychiatric evaluation is a conversation about your concerns, health history, and goals. Your provider will discuss possible next steps and treatment options with you.
Will I be prescribed medication?
Medication is a discussion, not a guarantee. Recommendations depend on your assessment, needs, and shared treatment decisions.
Are in-person and telehealth visits available?
Yes. In-person appointments are available at 1110 Calder, Suite 121, Beaumont, TX 77701. Telehealth appointments are also available for Texas residents. We see patients ages 6 and older.
What ages do you treat?
Julia sees patients ages 6 and older.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept several insurance networks, including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Ascension SmartHealth, Carelon Behavioral Health, Curative, and Independence Blue Cross. See our Insurance page for current information and pending plans, and confirm your specific coverage before booking.
How do I book or access my patient portal?
Use the Book now link to visit Julia’s Headway profile and continue booking there. For patient account access, follow the instructions in your appointment confirmation.
What if I need help immediately?
This website is not monitored for emergencies. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support. For an immediate danger or medical emergency, call 911.
